David’s skills are particularly appropriate for clients seeking specialist retirement planning advice and who wish for a greater sense of control of their retirement.

David is passionate in the use of Self Managed Superannuation Funds for those wanting greater control, flexibility, investment choice and enhanced tax outcomes for their retirement assets. David takes a detailed yet practical approach complimented by his strong focus on client service.

David was born and raised in the Northern Rivers and his family have strong ties to the area.

When David is not busy advising clients, he enjoys the best of the Northern Rivers outdoor lifestyle with his wife and two children.

Rebecca Shume

Chartered Accountant

Rebecca has 23 years of public practice accounting experience. She is a Chartered Accountant and completed a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Accounting in 1999.

Rebecca provides Self Managed Superannuation Fund accounting services and taxation advice to our clients through Alstonville Financial Services.

Rebecca also provides taxation advice to the team to assist the advice provided to our clients.

When not working Rebecca is enjoying family time with her husband and two young children.

Leah Dillon

Client Services

Leah brings skills of Administration and Reception as well as Accounting and Information Systems. 

Leah studied at Southern Cross University and holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Information Systems Degree.

Leah has been in the area since starting high school and has most of her family nearby.

Leah loves the area and when not working enjoys helping her husband with farming.
